This policy explains what information PlayerPartnerships.com collects and how it is used. The short version: this site does not ask you to create an account, it only collects an email address if you choose to join a guide waitlist, and it does not sell personal information.
Information you send by email
If you email nickey@playerpartnerships.com, I receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include. I use it only to reply and to follow up on your request. I don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Guide waitlists
If you join the waitlist for a free guide, your email address, the guide you asked for and the date are stored in this website’s WordPress database. I use that only to email you when the guide is ready, and I don’t share it. You can ask me to remove it at any time.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site’s hosting provider (Kinsta) and its content delivery network keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site secure and working properly.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your general location (city or region) and the type of device and browser you use. It does not tell me who you are. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Resources and Stan Store
Resource links open Stan Store, a separate service. Anything you enter there, such as your email address to receive a guide, is handled under Stan Store’s own privacy policy.
Young people
Many hockey players are under 18. This site is written for players, parents and organizations, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has sent personal information, email me and I will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete information you have sent me by emailing nickey@playerpartnerships.com.
